Plunder
When you plunder opponents on the Plunder tab, the fleets situated there are either in the port or travelling to the port with over 3 danger rating, new players with fleets showcasing on Plunder, are immune to hits down to the new player protection.
A quick summary of danger rating:
- Every attack you gain 6 danger rating/points
- Each defense you lose 18 danger rating/points
When you attack someone you can potentially gain gold coins, fame, cargo and a ship (cargo and ship both being dependent on if they can pay the ransom.) A typical example is found below; where the person can not afford the ransom of a Man-of-War so I get a ship, gold coins and fame!
You plundered the ship of your opponent: A Man-of-War is yours!
You earned an extra 59,500 thanks to Piracy!
Your fame increased by 33,154!
Fame Plunder Formula:
- (10% of total fame)/(Number of ships owned by loser/25) - Winner gets half of this.
- For pirates, as long as they own 200 or less ships, 200 ships are assumed.
- Maximum fame loss is 10% of losers total fame per attack.
Gold Coins Plunder Formula:
- The person that lost the battle will lose 1% to 5% of his treasury at hand, however max someone can lose is 250,000 per attack. Done via an RNG.
- The loser must also pay 10% of 'tail' ships ransom. If the ship is a Man-of-War, the person has to pay 135,000 gold coins.
Cargo Plunder Formula:
- When the loser does not have enough gold coins to cover the ship's ransom. The loser has a final chance, the ships cargo gets sold at base price of market, and then given to the victor (If said amount is enough to cover the ship ransom.
Officer Plunder!
If the victor has less than 200 captains and plunders a ship, he will also recieve a captain from the game! (Does not come from the player.)
